Does Apple fall too far from the tree?

Apple disappoints with the announcement of the new iphone 4 update at least in my opinion, while it refreshes their phone with the updated specs, such as the dual A5 processor, 8 mega pixel camera and the new shutter optics it still manages to fall short. Everyone and their mother was expecting an entirely new phone not a rehash based primarily on the last generation model. Which at first glance one might think, however take a closer look at the specifications and you will see the iphone 4s does not have much in common with it's older sibling iphone 4, here are some more specifications and features

Capacity and Pricing respectively for the three models 16GB $199, 32GB $299 and the 64GB $399.

These are just some of the specifications for the new iPhone. If you are a current generation iphone owner or perhaps you not are impressed and are willing to hold off until apple announces a true successor to the iPhone throne.
